I know I’m emailing you on a Sunday, John, but I needed to reach out.

We’re just a few weeks away from primary elections here in North Carolina, and we need to be prepared to act immediately once the general election season begins.

Democrats are competing all across the state, including in every single state Senate district. We’re casting a wide net because we know that we have a winning agenda.

But our candidates are also heading into their races at a disadvantage. Republican lawmakers have used their legislative supermajority to make it harder for some North Carolinians to vote. This is a blatant attempt to secure their own hold on power regardless of the will of the people.

John, I won’t have it. I’m determined to help elect strong Democratic leaders who will keep up my work for North Carolina. Will you help me?
