School closures around the country are exposing major gaps in access to technology and the internet.

Yesterday Alex was at Morgan Elementary (his alma mater), where he helped distribute chrome books to students without a computer at home. Holyoke will be providing computers to more than 1,000 students in the next few days.

The next challenge is making sure all students have internet access. At Alex's direction, Holyoke has also committed to investing in internet access for those kids that need it most throughout the duration of this crisis.

Alex will bring the same frontline leadership with him to Washington that he displays every day in Holyoke by putting people first.
