The starting salary is ?28,785 (Level One) rising to ?30,507 (Level Two) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time workers).

The Special Educational Needs (SEN) Service works closely with schools, parents and specialist services from education, health and social care. We are looking for a knowledgeable and resilient person to be responsible for supervising the administration of the additional funding process for high needs learners aged 0-25. Funding processes include the Early Years Inclusion Fund and High Level Needs funding for schools and early years settings, and the High Needs funding for students in FE College and other Post-16 settings.

The post holder will monitor a range of SEN budgets and provide financial information to schools, settings and senior officers. The post holder will lead on ensuring that SEN Service records and data managment processes are legally compliant, efficient and fit for purpose and will provide complex data analysis, forcaseting and management information to inform strategic planning and commissioning of services.
?
The succesful candidate will have a strong analytical approach, a high level of perosnal drive and commitment to excellent customer care, and the ability to set an example to colleagues.
?
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:?
  • Robust knowledge and experience of administrative practices and procedures including budget monitoring
  • Supervisory experience
  • Excellent standard of literacy, numerousy and communication skills
  • Skilled in the use of data management software and information management systems
  • Ability to interpret and produce complex data analyses, forecasting and management information.
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex legislation, and negoctiate solutions within those boundaries to make decisiions and solve problem
