----------———————————————————————————

Greetings from Philadelphia, where my hotel overlooks beautiful Independence Hall -- that hallowed ground where both the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution were signed.

Today, we are here for the same reason they once gathered in that great hall -- for meetings with pro-liberty allies across the state, where patriots are working non-stop to help secure trustworthy elections. Inspiring is an understatement.

Even as the world around us grows increasingly chaotic, I want to share **good news**, **good news**, and **great news**. Listen for the signal through the noise, my friends. Liberty will win out. Just keep moving forward - and never stop.

**Good News #1.** **This week, after eleven years in court, the True the Vote v. IRS/Lois Lerner et al. lawsuit finally ended.** TTV won the case in 2018, but the IRS fought to avoid paying attorney fees for the following six years. Even though TTV had no financial stake in the outcome, as we’re no longer working with either of the law firms that represented us over the decade-plus battle, we had to engage yet another firm to protect our interests in case things went off the rails on either side, as they so often had in this case. On Thursday, we got word that the U.S. Solicitor General had declined to take up the IRS’s appeal.

_It’s over. Thanks be to God._

If you are new to True the Vote, from 2010-2013, we were targeted for takedown by the IRS, enduring outrageous audits, investigations, and abuse. We sued them in 2013, fought to the bitter end, won in DC Circuit Court, and established a precedent that has helped protect other non-profit organizations from ever enduring the types of harassment we went through under the Obama administration.

If you’ve been around awhile, thank you for supporting this effort over all the many years. Together, we won - and we finished strong.

**Good News #2**, "**Scan. Check. Protect.**" is going viral! Thousands of people have already taken the S.C.P. challenge. The goal? Clean voter rolls!

Have you ever changed your state of residence since registering to vote? Check to make sure you’re no longer on the voter roll in that state(s). If you find you’re still registered (and you likely are), protect your voting record and help clean up the voter rolls by having your record removed. For step-by-step instructions, [check out Scan. Check. Protect at this link!]([link removed])

We’re traveling the country to spread the word. Here’s a sample of the stunned responses we get when people realize they have multiple voter registrations.

And **Great News**. Fair Fight appealed to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, asking the court to overturn True the Vote’s recent victory against them in the Federal District Court. [You can read more about the case here. ]([link removed])

Why is this great news? Though we don’t relish the thought of going back to court, the upside is worth it because **at the Appeals Court, we can establish case law that will impact the nation.**

_Sidebar: _You may have read recent news stories about Stacey Abrams and Fair Fight’s announcing they were laying off 75% of their work force due to lack of revenue. While it appears true that Fair Fight staff was laid off, make no mistake about Fair Fight’s financial capacity. They are part of a web of organizations with no shortage of financiers. Funding this suit will be no problem for them.

True the Vote does not have a safety net of support like our opposition’s. We are the tip of the spear, the first to the fight. Taking on battles most others can’t or won’t. As we head into the 11th Circuit, we need your help.

**We Will Keep Moving Forward. **From new programs like Scan. Check. Protect., to the relaunch of programs like cleaning the voter rolls with IV3, to online election teams training and on-the-ground outreach, and yes, to the relentless arena of lawfare, where we look forward to going on offense - they all depend on you, and the nationwide network of patriots just like you, to keep it going. Please help us if you can.

As the war wages on, we stand firm. We ask for your unabashed support - with strength in our stride and hope in our spirits.

Keep the faith. Never quit.

P.S. If you are worried about the impact of noncitizen voting in the upcoming elections, we are, too. This is a extremely serious problem. Soon, we will be coming to you with a plan to address it. Stay tuned. It will be the most significant effort we’ve ever undertaken.

P.P.S. Please join me this Monday, when I’ll go into greater detail about all these issues and more. I’ll be livesteaming Monday, 2.12, at 7p et. You can join the livestream by going to [onward.locals.com]([link removed])
