We need Americans to thrive, not be saddled with trauma to last them a lifetime.
John,
The United States prides itself on being the leader of the Free World, but what do we actually lead the world in? Currently, the U.S. leads in having the highest gun death rate among developed nations.
Here’s how we compare to some other countries:
🇪🇸 Spain: 0.6
🇩🇪 Germany: 0.9
🇦🇺 Australia: 1.0
🇨🇦 Canada: 2.1
🇫🇷 France: 2.7
🇺🇸 United States: 10.6
(gun deaths per 100,000 people)1
As of January 31, there have already been 45 mass shootings across the nation, with 94 lives lost and 121 people injured.
Our country can and must do better.
Our elected officials need to take action now to ensure the safety of each and every American by passing common sense gun reform immediately. We need our children and families to thrive, not be saddled with trauma to last them a lifetime.
Will you sign on to our petition urging Congress to act swiftly to protect our communities through common sense gun reform and stop the bloodshed?
SIGN ON
Thank you for all that you do,
