Alexandria campaigned on expanding Medicare in order to make prescriptions more affordable. Now, Medicare has the power to negotiate prescription drugs — and insulin is capped at $35/ month. Alexandria’s Green New Deal was called pie-in-the-sky, but it laid the groundwork for Congress to pass its largest ever investment to fight climate change — $369 billion.
And because she takes no donations from corporations, lobbyists, or special interests, Alexandria works only for us.
