This is important, team. Check out the latest from Slate:
"There sure are a lot of Republican billionaires funding the Democratic primaries"
Last week, AIPAC's United Democracy Project reported over $40 million in cash on-hand, just a taste of the $100+ million they're gearing up to spend this cycle.
But the ones bankrolling this effort certainly aren't working people chipping in a few bucks at a time, or even run-of-the-mill big-dollar Democratic donors.
No.
When we talk about these donors, we're talking personal friends of Donald Trump. A Nikki Haley and Rudy Guiliani megadonor. Samuel Alito's luxury vacation sponsor. Billionaire sports franchise owners, hedge fund managers, and corporate CEOs abound.
These right-wing billionaires are hoping to interfere in Democratic primaries all across the country, and are prepared to spend millions trying to defeat our progressive movement.
We've seen their playbook before, and we know it won't be long before dark money starts pouring into Minnesota's 5th district targeting Ilhan.
If we're going to fight back and win, we need to do it the same way we always have — together. That's why we're urgently asking:
Can you make a contribution — of $3, $10, or any amount you can — to stand with Ilhan and our re-election campaign today? It's so important that we have the grassroots resources required to stay in this fight.

Whether or not you're able to chip in today, thank you so much for being a part of our movement.
In solidarity,
Team Ilhan
