Shooting you a quick note as our Winnebago rolls into Storm Lake, Iowa. I'm excited to sit down with Storm Lakers today and chat about the issues that matter. (Fun fact: the local paper, the Storm Lake Times, won a Pulitzer for its reporting two years ago. Local journalism can't be beat).

Many of the issues dominating our national conversation—like immigration and the future of our environment—are on people's minds right here in Iowa.

After today's visit, we'll push on tomorrow to the Iowa State Fair, where I hope to run into some of you. For those who can't join me, we'll send updates as I continue to travel around the country.
