John, recently I sat down with Politico to discuss my background, my experience, and my life of public service.

I was proud to tell Politico about my progressive campaign: “Cisneros is trying to distinguish himself as the most progressive and union-friendly candidate in the race.”

And I was proud to tell them about my commitment to service: “‘I’m not beholden to special interests, I don’t see this as a career.’”
