John,
I am appalled by the outright partisan politics Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer are playing right now. During the middle of a worldwide pandemic, Congress has been working day and night to enact a much needed stimulus package to help Americans and small businesses across the country survive this turbulent time.
Not once, but TWICE now, have the partisan politics of Pelosi and Schumer stalled this stimulus package being passed -- putting money and resources back into the hands of Americans who need it.
All for what?
Pelosi and Schumer are demanding:
$35 million dollars for the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
Provisions that would allow illegal immigrants to vote in November’s election.
Bureaucratic red tape on all grants/audits of emergency relief.
Mandatory gender composition guidelines for corporate boards.
And various other pet projects that have NOTHING tangentially to do with the Coronavirus pandemic.
This is a time for leadership and bipartisanship, NOT petty partisan politics. If you agree that it’s time that Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer should shelve any unrelated items and pass this important economic stimulus, take our simple survey today. [link removed]
