It is my great honor to endorse Frank Mrvan to serve as Representative for Indiana’s First Congressional District. Please follow his Facebook page to stay up to date on all of his campaign activities. 

Trustee Mrvan has a proven track record of delivering results for working people, and I know he will use his experience and integrity to be a CHAMPION for the people of Northwest Indiana in Congress. Whether it was supporting veterans, workforce training opportunities, housing assistance, or programs to benefit the most vulnerable, Frank Mrvan has been tireless in his work to better our community.

Furthermore, Frank’s commitment to organized labor is obvious. As a congressman, I worked closely with organized labor throughout my career - and Frank has been alongside me and union members the whole time. He has walked the lines, spent time in union halls, and stood with labor his entire career. It’s why he earned the endorsement of the United Steelworkers!

Frank is also leading by example to help residents of Northwest Indiana during the current health crisis. He is donating blood, delivering food to seniors and our health care workers, and coordinating emergency response capabilities through the Northwest Indiana Information Sharing and Security Alliance.

Trustee Mrvan knows what to do in a crisis because of his extensive experience in responding to the needs of individuals during trying times, such as when they need assistance paying rent, keeping the heat on, using transportation, or having access to life-saving prescription drugs. This is the type of steady leadership that Northwest Indiana needs during emergency times.

I know that Frank will fight with each breath and every fiber of his being to implement his vision for the people of Northwest Indiana - including growing our regional economy, creating more good-paying jobs, and improving our quality of life.
