Welcome to Team E-PAC, Nancy Dahlstrom!

This week, Elise and E-PAC endorsed Lt. Governor Nancy Dahlstrom for Congress
in Alaska’s at-large district. Nancy Dahlstrom was elected to serve as Alaska’s
15th Lieutenant Governor in 2022 and has worked in various capacities on behalf
of hardworking Alaskan families since 2003.

Meet Nancy: Nancy decided to give back to her home and serve Alaskans when she
grew concerned about the direction of our state. She served first as a State
Representative, where she became Chairman of the Joint Armed Services Committee
and Co-Chairman of the Military and Veterans Committee. Later, she became a
Senior Advisor for Military Affairs for the state and then served as our
Commissioner of Corrections. Nancy’s experience with military and veterans’
issues and as a law enforcement leader is unparalleled. Nancy worked tirelessly
to fight the base closures and was a co-sponsor of the Alaska Medal of Honor
legislation. As Commissioner of Corrections, Nancy made sure violent criminals
paid their debt to society and helped make Alaska families safer. Nancy worked
with Governor Dunleavy to repeal and replace SB 91, which permitted dangerous
‘catch and release’ for criminals. Alaskans can sleep better at night because
of these efforts. In 2022, Alaskans elected the Dunleavy-Dahlstrom ticket on
the first ballot by 26 points. As Lieutenant Governor, Nancy has prioritized
public safety, energy security, and emergency preparedness.

Chairwoman Cathy McMorris Rogers Announces Retirement

Yesterday, Chairwoman Cathy McMorris Rogers announced her retirement.
Throughout her career, Cathy has been known for her work on issues related to
healthcare, veterans, and the economy. She has also served as the Chairwoman of
the House Energy and Commerce Committee and has held various leadership
positions within the Republican Party.

Cathy McMorris Rodgers was a longtime mentor of Chairwoman Elise Stefanik’s.
Elise stated –

Words cannot describe how meaningful @cathymcmorris has been to the House
Republican Conference and to the country. Whether serving as Conference Chair
or Chairwoman of Energy and Commerce, Cathy is a trailblazer in so many ways.
For me, Cathy will always be a dear friend and a true mentor. I am looking
forward to serving with Cathy for the rest of this Congress and I know she has
a significant policy agenda for her committee and her district. I want to
congratulate the amazing CMR for her extraordinary leadership and the next
exciting chapter for her family.

GOP Women in the News

Chairwoman Elise Stefanik on CNN

On Thursday night, Elise joined CNN’s The Source with Kaitlan Collins to
discuss attempts from Far Left Democrats to illegally remove President Donald
Trump from the ballot, the two-tiered system of justice, Joe Biden’s plummeting
in the poll numbers, and much, much more.

“Well, it shows that the Left and the Democrat Party and Joe Biden’s campaign,
they know they're going to lose at the ballot box which is why you’re seeing
lawfare. You’re seeing witch hunt after witch hunt, court case after court
case, going after Joe Biden’s top political opponent which is Donald Trump. And
today was a very bad day for Joe Biden. It was a very bad day in court for the
Left. It was a very bad day for the Colorado bogus court case. It was a very
good day for President Trump, and it was a good day for the Constitution and
the American people. The American people are going to make this decision in
November not radical bureaucrats from the state of Colorado, not radical
judges, or Far Left prosecutors.”

Kat Cammack (FL-03) on Fox News

On Monday’s "The Faulkner Focus," Florida Rep. Kat Cammack talked with Harris
Faulkner about why the Invasion Authorization bill from the Senate is dead on
arrival in the House. The bill would codify the current invasion happening at
our borders into law and further destroy our immigration system.
