I know our campaign sends a lot of emails, so before I ask you to chip in, I wanted to take a moment to explain why.
This is one of the most competitive districts in the entire country. And because our race is so important and competitive, it also means that it’ll be very expensive. Republicans will do whatever it takes to protect my opponent and their slim House majority. In 2022, they spent millions on attack ads, and this year, they’ve already been flooding my opponent’s campaign with special interest money to hold onto his seat.
I’m running a different kind of campaign. I don’t take any corporate PAC money. Instead, we’re relying on everyday folks like you to support our campaign. I’m running for Congress to represent you, not the special interests.
So I’d rather send an email like this to thousands of people chipping in a couple bucks at a time than take big checks from a handful of corporate PACs.
