FRIDAY, 2/9/2024.We’re all here for the same reason - we all have deep concerns with our country’s national security. Many of you have made it clear that you have major concerns with the failure of leadership we are seeing from Biden towards Iran.
John, I want to ask you:

What do you think of Biden’s Iran policy?
I need to hear if you think Biden’s response to the killing of 3 U.S. servicemen was too weak, too strong, or just right.

Driving the Week:Ambassador Bolton speaks with CNN about Trump chickening out and avoiding attending his Supreme Court hearing
[link removed]
John Bolton on CNN: On Wednesday, John Bolton spoke with CNN to discuss the cowardness displayed by former President Trump as he refused to attend oral arguments before the Supreme Court.
Critical Context: Ambassador Bolton pointed out that the three Supreme Court Justices that President Trump nominated will not blindly rule in his favor and anyone who assumes differently doesn’t know the kind of justices he put forward.
The Final Word: John Bolton outlined his belief that Trump refused to appear because he knew he would be outnumbered by those who respect the rule of law.

The Telegraph: Here are the dangers of a second term for Donald Trump
[link removed]
John Bolton in the Telegraph: John Bolton wrote that Trump’s need for retribution against his political enemies and his desire for unconditional loyalty would be the driving danger of a second term for the former President.
Critical Context: It’s certain Trump has plans that would repeatedly cross lines that will cause conflict, often constitutional conflict. He will seek retribution against his political enemies using agencies such as the Justice Department. With a White House staff that follows his orders without asking questions, problems are sure to arise.
The Final Word: Trump is not a responsible President. No responsible President would have such a staff or agenda, instead focusing on advisors who voice their opinions freely and his agenda will distract not just him, but Congress, from focusing on the real threats at home and abroad.

John Bolton speaks to CBS about Biden’s hesitation with Iran
[link removed]
John Bolton on CBS: John Bolton talks with CBS on the initial U.S. strikes in Iraq and Syria on Feb. 2nd. It’s shocking that Biden waited so long to strike back at Iran and it goes to show that Biden and his team are paralyzed in fear that his Iran policy will be seen as a failure.
Critical Context: From Oct. 7th until Feb. 3rd, Iran has faced no repercussions for their proxies’ terrorist attacks. Hundreds of our Israeli allies and now three U.S. soldiers instead have paid the price for Iran’s terrorism sponsorship.
The Final Word: The U.S. strikes against Iranian proxy groups in Iraq and Syria are a good start, but Biden needs to do more. America’s standing in the world has already taken a serious hit due to Biden’s inaction.
