On February 14, 2018, my daughter Jaime was murdered in her own high school in Parkland, Florida. Jaime's death left me devastated and enraged.

I knew I had to do something to ensure no other family had to endure the devastating pain my family went through. That's why, in the memory of my daughter, I've dedicated my life to stopping gun violence and supporting candidates who WILL fight for the lives of our loved ones.

As an Air Force Officer, Brian trained with weapons of war, and he knows they have no place in our communities. As a trauma surgeon, he's seen what these guns do to bodies, and he's running for Congress because the crisis is only getting worse.

The terrible reality is that gun violence is a uniquely American problem. Working in the trauma bay, Brian has been on the frontlines of this crisis, and he has had to tell far too many parents that their children had died from gun violence.
