Team,

Earlier this week, the House passed the Wildlife Innovation and Longevity Driver (WILD) Reauthorization. This bipartisan legislation that I introduced would reauthorize critical U.S. Fish and Wildlife conservation programs including:

-The Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program enables wildlife and habitat conservation in all 50 states and territories
-The Multinational Species Conservation Fund helps conserve some of the world’s most iconic species, including rhinos, elephants, tigers, great apes, and turtles

I’m a fighter for wildlife and Michigan’s climate in Congress, which is why the WILD Act is the latest legislation I’ve worked hard to pass in order to protect our wildlife, our climate, and our resources.

Earlier this year, I worked to introduce the Great Lakes Mapping Act to conduct high-resolution mapping of the lakebeds of the Great Lakes. This legislation will help us get a better understanding of the Great Lakes and what we can do to better protect them against climate change.

We need to prioritize and protect our wildlife by conserving the diversity of wildlife species. Will you join me today by signing my petition to show your support for the WILD Act and urge the Senate to pass this important legislation? It’s up to us to protect these species for generations to come. [[link removed]]

Thank you for your support,

– Debbie
