Thanks to you, we met our January fundraising goal!

This was important to show extremist Republicans and DC insiders that we have the support to win in November and help flip the House. I’m grateful to everyone who contributed to our work to focus on the needs of working people while protecting our democracy, our environment, and our fundamental rights.

Unlike my opponents, I don’t take corporate PAC money. And I am proud that our campaign is people-powered. In our most recent quarterly report, we logged some impressive statistics: 1,264 donors and 87% of our contributions were $100 or less.

It sure adds up -- and shows the power of small-dollar donations -- because once again, we outraised our primary opponents.

There’s another important statistic: 78% of our contributors are Oregonians.

This is an important statement to the DC insiders who think they can pick our Representatives. They can’t. This race will be decided by Oregonians, not DC insiders or corporate PACs.

Bottom line: we need to replace Lori Chavez-DeRemer’s extreme, out-of-touch positions, from an abortion ban to cuts to public education. I’m the only Democrat in this race who has defeated Lori in key parts of the district -- Multnomah AND Clackamas AND Deschutes counties -- and I am well positioned to win OR-5 in November.
