A new article from Slate reveals why the GOP-aligned lobby group AIPAC is pouring millions into Democratic primary races.

Justice Democrats

John,

Another day, another headline about AIPAC. A new article from Slate reveals that nine out of the lobby group’s top ten donors are aligned with the GOP — including former Home Depot CEO and Trump megadonor Bernie Marcus, an LLC associated with New England Patriots owner and Trump supporter Robert Kraft, as well as Paul Singer, a Nikki Haley and Rudy Giuliani donor who notoriously took crooked Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito on luxury vacations.

Tweet from Alex Sammon: I ran the FEC files of the top 10 donors to AIPAC’s United Democracy Project PAC, which only spends in Dem races. There’s only *one* Democratic funder. The majority: Trump megadonors, Republicans, billionaires. Will Dems seriously let them decide elections?

Why is a group mostly funded by Republican millionaires and billionaires spending tens of millions of dollars in Democratic primaries?

Because they want to sabotage our movement and unseat the most progressive members of Congress fighting to hold them accountable and change the status quo.

In 2022, AIPAC’s super PAC United Democracy Project spent more than any other outside group in Democratic primaries to support conservative candidates. This year, AIPAC’s network could spend upwards of $100 million to take down as many Justice Democrats incumbents as they can.

We’re relying on this grassroots, people-powered movement to help us fight back. Will you rush $3 or more to fuel our work to defend the Squad against AIPAC’s right-wing megadonor network in the 2024 primaries?

Contribute $3

AIPAC and its affiliates have spent tens of millions of dollars against the Squad before, but we the people defeated them by coming together. This is a critical moment for the fate of the Democratic Party and our progressive movement, so we hope we can count on you again.

In solidarity,

Justice Democrats

Do not worry if you cannot afford to make a contribution — we understand that this is a difficult time.

There are other ways to make an impact in support of peace and equality in Israel and Palestine: please urge your member of Congress to support a ceasefire through Adalah Justice Project’s petition or by calling them using Jewish Voice for Peace’s dialer here. Your voice matters in this critical moment.
