We’re excited to announce that we have begun accepting applications for our 2024 cohort of ABSI Movement Fellows!

In 2023, we successfully graduated our inaugural cohort of Fellows. Throughout their fellowship, they were able to complete a rigorous curriculum through our Atlanta University Consortium partners, intense on the job training at various Labor organizations in the South, workshops in topics such as research and professional writing, and expanded their professional network with connections to Government leaders/Cabinet Secretaries, Foundation Presidents, and Movement and Thought Leaders.

If you or someone you know has demonstrated interest in empowering Black workers through union organizing, policy advocacy, social justice advocacy, and/or community organizing, please apply at jwj.org/absi-2024. The application deadline is February 26, 2024. The ideal fellow is an emerging Black Strategist who has 3+ years of movement-related work experience.
