At every level of government, from your city to your state, we want to see Democrats running for office and making their voices heard. Up and down the ballot we are putting together a coalition of people that can move our state towards real progress, and taking people off the sidelines and into the halls of government.

After the first week of candidate filing, we now have 333 Democrats filed to run that are ready to carry our movement across South Carolina into town halls, county governments, and the State House. But the search to find the best representatives of our state never ends, and there is still time to run for something if you want to see progress in our state! Candidate filing ends at noon on March 30th.

So far, a total of 333 Democrats have filed to run for office in South Carolina.

— 223 Democrats filed to run for county office, clerk, school board, sheriff, coroner, or audito

— 73 Democrats filed to run for State Representative

— 31 Democrats filed to run for State Senator

— 6 Democrats filed to run for Congress

— Jaime Harrison filed to run for U.S. Senate
