Republicans are nominating a guy — Trump — who lost an election and tried to wreck the country over it.
As a party, Republicans are making democracy a partisan issue. I never thought I'd see that in my lifetime.
History reminds us that each of us will be judged... and ultimately judge ourselves, to the extent we contribute, as Bobby Kennedy said, to the life of our cities, our state, our nation, and the world we are trying to build.
We all have a role to play on the march of progress.
