Dear Friends and Constituents,

We are just a few days away from crossover, the deadline by which all bills originating in the Senate or House must be passed by their respective bodies. This means things are moving very fast here in the General Assembly Building. This year, the Senate had over 700 bills and the House had over 1,500 bills, and we still have a lot to go through by the end of Tuesday night. We will be sending out the next edition of the Salim Senate Spotlight on Wednesday, right after crossover, so we can give you a complete update on all of our bills.

Town Halls

Thank you to everyone who attended my Town Hall last week with Delegate David Bulova at Fairfax City Hall. If you missed it we have two more town halls coming up tomorrow!

• Saturday, February 10th • 9AM - Vienna Town Hall with Del. Seibold
• Saturday, February 10th • 1PM - Falls Church City Hall with Del. Simon

Please note that since the last newsletter, the locations have been added and that the time for the Falls Church town hall was pushed back until 1PM.
