President Biden is getting ready to release next year’s budget, which he’s no doubt putting the finishing touches on now. With tensions running high across the globe, many expect that Biden will allocate much of the budget to “security.” The U.S. government has historically spent more on weapons and war than any other country on earth.

This has never made anyone, anywhere safer. It’s clear this approach isn’t working.

Biden’s budget could bring even more bombs and bullets into a world where violence is increasing by the second — we need to speak up now.
