The special election to fill George Santos’s old congressional seat -- our
first chance for a red-to-blue flip this cycle -- is only FOUR days away!
But as we head into the final weekend before Election Day, we’ve hit a
small “problem”: We have three times as many volunteer sign-ups for our
Neighbor2Neighbor canvassing program as we were expecting. 

Obviously, this is the best kind of problem to have. It means we can knock
on more doors and reach more voters in a race that’s coming down to the
wire. Before we can do that, we have to come up with the resources to
match our volunteer energy. 

Because this is a special election, funding for this work isn’t in our
regular budget. So, when we get a surge of volunteer sign-ups, we count on

You’ve heard us call this election a tossup before, and the latest polling
released yesterday shows the candidates are truly neck and neck with just
days to go before voting closes. Ultimately, this race will come down to
which side can best mobilize their voters, and there’s still time for us
to get out the vote. 

We’re still finding folks who haven’t heard about the special election and
Dem voters who didn’t realize they had been redistricted into NY-03.
Targeted outreach like our Neighbor2Neighbor canvassing program is the
best way to reach these voters and get them to the polls on Tuesday. But
we need your help to pull this off. We have the data-proven tactics and
the committed activists on the ground -- even more than we were expecting!
But we’ve got to have their backs as they pound the pavement this weekend.
