President Biden Deemed Too Old to Be Charged With Mishandling Documents

Yet, his administration keeps touting how mentally sharp he is and how he is in great shape. They think we are too stupid to notice. Daily Mail: The Department of Justice released its long-awaited investigation into Joe Biden’s mishandling of classified documents Thursday, delivering a damning assessment of the president as an ‘elderly man with a poor memory.’ Although the report did not recommend bringing charges against the 81-year-old , it provides a cascade of damaging findings about files found in Biden’s garage as well as the president’s fitness for office. One of the reasons they decided not to press charges was because ‘at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory’ (Daily Mail). Katie Pavlich: Special Counsel decided not to charge Biden for mishandling classified information partially because they believed Bided was too old and confused to know, “poor memory” cited (X). If this is the reasoning, why is he allowed to run for office again?

Supreme Court Prepares to Reinstate Trump to 2024 Ballots in Colorado
Associated Press: The Supreme Court seems poised to reject attempts to kick former President Donald Trump off the 2024 ballot, with conservative and liberal justices in apparent agreement in a case that puts them at the heart of a presidential election. A definitive ruling for Trump, the leading Republican candidate for president, would largely end efforts in Colorado, Maine and elsewhere to prevent his name from appearing on the ballot. The justices could act quickly, possibly by Super Tuesday on March 5, when Colorado, Maine and 13 other states will hold primaries (Associated Press). Ilya Shapiro: After a sprawling argument that went nearly twice as long as its allotted time, it’s pretty clear that the Supreme Court will leave Donald Trump’s fate to the voters, not state election officials (X).

Hawaii’s Supreme Court Throws Out Second Amendment Claiming “Spirit of Aloha” Is Above the U.S. Constitution
Mediaite: Hawaii’s Supreme Court refused to follow U.S. Supreme Court precedent on gun rights in an opinion released on Wednesday, declaring that “the spirit of Aloha clashes” with the Second Amendment, which guarantees Americans an individual right to bear arms. The declaration was made in a decision ruling that a man charged with carrying a firearm without a permit in the state back in 2017 could still be held criminally for that infraction despite a recent Supreme Court decision, New York State Rifle & Pistol Association Inc. v. Bruen, that ruled that New York’s concealed-carry application system was unconstitutional. Its decision was based on the Court’s interpretation of Article I, Section 17 of Hawaii’s constitution, which “mirrors the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution” (Mediaite). JCN: The Hawaii Supreme Court is trampling over Americans’ Second Amendment rights and ignoring Supreme Court decisions (X).

Democratic Senator Chris Murphy (CT) Admits Illegal Immigrants Are The “People We Care About Most”
He said the quiet part out loud. RNC Research: Democrat Senator Chris Murphy admits their fake border push is about “the ability to try to rescue the undocumented Americans that desperately need help” and keeping “immigration pathways alive” (X). Fox News: MSNBC host Chris Hayes asked Murphy about the border security bill and said, rather than pushing for a path to citizenship in border legislation negotiations like the party has in the past, Democrats were using Ukraine funding. “Well, I mean, Chris, that’s been a failed play for 20 years. So you are right that that has been the Democratic strategy for 30 years, maybe, and it has failed to deliver for the people we care about most, the undocumented Americans that are in this country,” Murphy said (Fox News). Katie Pavlich: Murphy also said legislation, which was torpedoed by Republicans on Capitol Hill, was an effort to “rescue undocumented Americans” (Townhall).

New Polling Says Democrats Are Losing Support Amongst Black and Hispanic Voters
National Review: The Democratic Party’s advantage over Republicans with black and Hispanic adults shrank by nearly 20 points over the last three years, according to a new Gallup poll… The poll found the difference between the share of black adults who identify as Democrat or lean Democratic versus the share that identifies as Republican or lean Republican decreased from 66 percent in 2020 to 47 percent in 2023, the lowest level recorded since Gallup began tracking the number (National Review). Gallup: These shifts in the party affiliation of key subgroups provide the demographic backstory for how Democrats went from enjoying significant leads over Republicans between 2012 and 2021, to slight deficits in 2022 and 2023. The 27% of U.S. adults identifying as Democrats and the 43% identifying as or leaning Democratic are both new lows (Gallup). This could be a roadmap for Republicans to establish a new majority and electoral coalition that would lead to victory this November.

She would fill a seat left vacant by Justice David Lowy (Fox News). CBS: Facing questions about her pick from reporters Wednesday afternoon, Healey said Wolohojian had the unanimous support of the Judicial Nominating Commission and that she was “proud” of the nomination. “Of course I had a personal relationship with Judge Wolohojian for many years, so I happen to also know something about her character, integrity and the kind of person she is,” Healey said. “I don’t want the fact that she had a personal relationship with me to deprive the Commonwealth of a person who’s most qualified for the position” (CBS).
