With a General Election on the horizon, millions of voters feeling the impact of Brexit will be wondering about what is on offer from the political parties to fix our broken trading relationship with Europe.

Informed by her time as a member of the European Parliament and her years of campaigning, our featured speaker Irina Von Weise will be discussing the Liberal Democrat approach to Europe ahead of our first post-Brexit General Election campaign.

She will touch on her years of experience, her vision for the future, and the Liberal Democrats' roadmap to rejoin the Single Market.

Irina was elected as a Member of the European Parliament for London in 2019. While an MEP she served as a member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and as Vice-Chair of the Subcommittee on Human Rights.

After the UK's departure from the European Union, Irina was elected to serve as a councillor for the Borough & Bankside ward of Southwark Council in 2022. She is a London-wide candidate for the London Assembly at the upcoming election on 2 May 2024.
