John,

From the very beginning of our campaign, we were fortunate to have the support of Justice Democrats -- who led the district-wide search process that inspired my high school teacher to nominate me.

Justice Democrats' mission is to elect diverse, progressive, working-class candidates like me who have the courage to take on the status quo and run on progressive values to represent the people, not corporations. Justice Democrats' work is what allows candidates like me to run for Congress and build people-powered movements.

Will you make a contribution to Justice Democrats today to help them continue to build movements like ours in South Texas and elect candidates who will fight for our values?

This fight was an opportunity to prove that a brown girl from the border with a whole community behind her could take on the machine and bring hope to our community.

We took on Big Oil, the NRA, the Kochs, private prisons, and the Chamber of Commerce. Our campaign was just the beginning in Texas' 28th. Together with your support, we mobilized people and built a grassroots movement that took on the corporate machine and almost won.

We couldn't have built that movement without Justice Democrats and their support. Now, they need your support to work to elect more candidates across the country running grassroots campaigns and primaries like ours.

Make a grassroots donation today to help JD fight to transform the Democratic Party and elect candidates to Congress who will fight with moral clarity for our communities.

Thank you for being a part of this, John.

Unidos en la lucha,

Jessica Cisneros
