We know that, with every utterance, Donald Trump and his minions confuse and manipulate voters. Rather than working to unite us, their grievance-fueled rants dangerously divide Americans. Recently they’ve scuttled rare bipartisan legislative work addressing immigration and border control.
While many embrace the lies and are solidly in Camp MAGA, other Republicans and unaffiliated voters are uncomfortable and aren’t sure of who to trust or what to do when it’s time to vote.
These are the voters we need to reach. These voters can be part of a great pro-democracy coalition of Americans. Talking with them won’t be easy or a one-time thing. It will take time and empathy. But we can help them realize the basic choice we will all make: Do we want America’s future to be about progress and problem solving or chaos and anarchy?
