Hi there, I wanted to check in with you real quick.
This is a difficult time for so many of you and your loved ones, and I’ve been thinking non-stop about how this crisis is affecting all of you.
It’s okay to be worried, angry, scared, or whatever other emotion you may be feeling right now.
Our seniors and folks who are immunocompromised are concerned about their health and safety. People are losing their jobs. Small businesses are closing their doors. And families are worried about what happens next.
While I’m fighting my heart out in the Senate to solve this crisis, I wanted to make sure I took a moment to reach out and see how you’re doing.
I’m making sure I hear directly from families about how this crisis is affecting them. So, I’m asking:
How has the coronavirus (COVID-19) affected you and your loved ones? Please, only share your story if you feel comfortable.
Thanks so much for taking some time on this. I look forward to hearing from you and reading your story. Just because we are practicing social distancing, doesn’t mean we need to go through this alone.
Please take care of yourself and your loved ones during this emergency.
Yours,
Tina
