While Governor Kathy Hochul is taking on the right fights for New York — including addressing the influx of migrants in our state — Republicans in Congress are stoking chaos and blaming Democrats.

This week, Republicans are throwing away legislation they helped write to tackle the asylum seeker and migrant crisis.

The bipartisan border deal doesn’t stand a chance in the Republican-controlled Congress — because they would rather help Donald Trump’s electoral chances than meaningfully deal with the issues facing millions of Americans.
