Dear Gun Owners,

It is a time filled with unknowns and uncertainty, both here in California
and across the nation. With the outbreak of COVID-19 and the wide-spread
affects it is having socially and economically, we wanted to touch base
with you, our loyal members and patriots.

While we are closely monitoring the spread of the virus, we have made the
difficult decision to postpone our scheduled fundraising events.

At this time, our Sacramento Crab Feed has been moved to July 10 and we are
looking for a new date for our Great Gun Giveaway shooting event. We are
praying we will still be able to hold our Oroville Banquet on June 5, as
originally planned.

Please keep in mind that as quickly as things are changing, there is a
significant chance we will have to cancel our fundraising events for the
year. This will greatly affect GOC and the work we do in defense of your
rights. We assure you that we will be in touch as things continue to
develop.

Thankfully, we have had a number of regular guests and members let us know
they are turning their “ticket purchases” into donations, regardless of
whether or not a new event takes place. This will help us keep our doors
open in the meantime and we are truly grateful for everyone’s understanding
and generosity.

Even during “social distancing”, there is still work to be done. Like
challenging the anti-gun moves the government, state and local, are
making. For example, the mayors who are forcing gun stores to close because
they are not “essential” items.

[1]Will you consider donating in the meantime, in order to help us continue
defending the Second Amendment?

Our priorities remain constant, as we believe our right to keep and bear
arms is essential to protecting the ones we love. In these times of
uncertainty, our rights are more critical than ever.

We have not, nor will we ever stop doing our part to continue defending
your gun rights.

We believe the Left will take advantage of the crisis we are in and they
will not suspend their reach for our rights.

[2]That is why we need your help. We rely heavily on the success of our
annual fundraising events and without them, we will not be able to keep our
doors open.

Each event provides us with the funds and resources to participate in court
cases, lobby at the Capitol, and engage in the elections. We do not
stockpile our resources … we use them accordingly, every single year.

[3]Will you help us maintain a war chest so we can stay involved? If so,
please contribute today!

From the beginning, we have been committed to honoring our donors and
members’ contributions by using them to physically defend the Second
Amendment.

With the potential loss of our fundraising banquets, our resources will be
significantly impacted. And we are not willing to let the Left, or COVID-19
stand in our way.

The Second Amendment was written and designed to guarantee your rights all
the time. Especially in times like this.

[4]Will you help us stand strong in the midst of the chaos that surrounds
us? We cannot control the corona virus, or its affects on our nation. But
we can continue to fight for our rights to defend our families and homes.

We will do our best to engage with you online, in an effort to keep you
armed and informed. Our website, as well as our social media sites, will
have information on the status of our fundraising events and we will
communicate regularly by email.

Even though we have all been encouraged to socially distance ourselves from
one another, we cannot sit back. We must ensure our freedoms remain intact
and we must stay in the fight together.
