Hi there. It’s Eugene Young. Today is the eighth day of Black History Month — and the lessons this month brings are important to carry with us every month.

It’s important for us to remember those who paved the way for the Black leaders we have today, and to continue pushing ahead to tomorrow. That means fighting for equality, justice, and opportunity for all, and making sure that fight never stops.

John, let’s push for a healthy democracy that provides Black representation at all levels of government and allows Black voter representation to thrive nationwide.

I’m committed to continuing my own role in this fight, by ensuring access to affordable housing, quality healthcare, and education is shared by our Black communities in Delaware — and across the United States.
