This is a friendly reminder that the League’s 40th Annual Scholarship Awards program deadline is next week! All applications must be submitted by Friday, February 16th at 5 p.m. The program is open to college-bound dependents of active, retired or reserve LAPPL members (lieutenant rank and below only), who have held continuous membership in the League for more than one year prior to the scholarship application submission date. Up to $10,000 in scholarships will be awarded each year, for a period of two years with continued proof of meeting minimum GPA standards.

The essay will be administered in person on Saturday, March 16th. No alternative arrangements will be made for the essay date. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS!

Essays are judged on the applicant’s ability to analyze the essay question and appropriately respond to it in writing. Finalists will be selected by the League Scholarship Committee. Completed online applications and official transcripts (digital or physical) must be received by the League NO LATER than February 16, 2024, at 5 p.m.
