The U.S. Supreme Court heard oral argument in former President Donald Trump’s Colorado disqualification case.

* Latino voters on Long Island, New York filed ([link removed]) a lawsuit alleging that Nassau County's legislative districts violate the New York Voting Rights Act. This is the second lawsuit filed under the new state-level voting rights act.
* In a lawsuit over the state's congressional and legislative maps, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (R) filed ([link removed]) a brief in the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals claiming that voters cannot sue to enforce Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act.
* Before oral argument today, the Supreme Court announced opinions in previously heard cases, but did not release a decision in the South Carolina congressional map challenge ([link removed]) .
* A group of Louisiana voters asked ([link removed]) a federal court to temporarily block the state's new congressional map after claiming that it was racially gerrymandered to create two majority-Black districts.
* Ahead of the Nevada Republican caucus tonight, Trump went ([link removed]) on social media to urge caucus goers to sign the petition for a proposed ([link removed]) constitutional amendment that would require strict photo ID in the state. A voter has already filed a lawsuit ([link removed]) seeking to stop the Republican-backed initiative.
