Friends,
As of today, March 24th, there are 342 confirmed cases of the coronavirus here in South Carolina. 39 of these cases are in Greenville County, and another 4 are located in Spartanburg County. This number continues to rise very quickly, and it is time for us as South Carolinians to take more extreme measures to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
Unless absolutely necessary, please stay home. Entering into any public space puts you, your family, and your community at risk. Limit the number of people entering and leaving your home, and try to limit the amount of trips you take to the grocery store. I am urging Governor McMaster to order a shelter-in-place for the state of South Carolina, but until then we can still do our parts by staying home. You can continue to use my website as an up-to-date resource for the latest coronavirus statistics here in South Carolina and to learn more about how to keep your family safe.
