Something disturbing happened in Washington. US Senators, who were elected to serve their constituents, attempted to make a profit off their suffering instead. We should all be outraged.

In January, US Senators received a closed-door briefing on the severity of the COVID-19 pandemic. Shortly after, Senator Burr and Senator Loeffler sold hundreds of thousands of dollars in stocks that would plummet in value months later when COVID-19 spread across the US.
