Hey John,

It’s Sam Waterston, and as you may know, on February 13th I will be joining Jane, Lily Tomlin, Martin Sheen, and more for a virtual Grace and Frankie reunion and live table read. All the proceeds benefit the Jane Fonda Climate PAC, so if you don’t have your tickets yet buy them now!

I’ve always admired Jane’s activism, so when she invited me to DC a couple of years back to stir up some good trouble and fight the stranglehold the fossil fuel lobby has on Washington, of course I said yes. So there we stood, arm in arm with other activists, blocking the street in front of the Library of Congress until the police came and cuffed us. It was my first time being arrested, but luckily my friend Jane was there to show me the ropes.

The work Jane PAC does is very important to me. As Jane says, we need bold policy changes from our leaders, and we need them now. And to win that change, we all need to take action. There is too much at stake not to act. But who says activism can’t be a good time? I know you’re going to enjoy the Grace and Frankie reunion, and I can’t wait to see you there on February 13th.

See you soon,

Sam
