Earlier this week, I voted NO on the GOP’s sham impeachment of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

Instead of focusing their energy on building just and respectful immigration policies, Republicans continue to play political games on the House floor.

Why? Because Donald Trump demands it.

[link removed] [[link removed]]Donald Trump has been completely controlling the Republican party, and the House is clear evidence of his sway. He has been directing his MAGA extremist puppets to file these sham impeachment papers — whether it be against President Biden or Secretary Mayorkas — all in an effort to sow chaos and benefit his own campaign.

All of these games are an attempt to weaken Democrats so he can usurp power in November.

But as long as I am in Congress, I will continue to bring light to these schemes by the Republican party and fight to hold extremist lawmakers accountable for serving an insurrectionist instead of their constituents.
