In 2022, our campaign really beat the odds and pulled out a major victory for Democrats in a race that many were betting against us. We were running in a toss-up district against a self-funding millionaire opponent, and national Republicans spent big in their efforts to unseat me.
However, thanks to supporters like you, I defended my seat by a margin of just 2%, and I know we can do it again in 2024.
If 2022 taught me anything, it’s that early money is the best way to win a campaign. Our people-powered campaign last cycle was proof of that – it was because of early investments from grassroots donors like you that we were able to start voter outreach early and continue our momentum all the way through Election Day.
This year, we have so much on the line. We’ve seen the dangers of Republican leadership (or lack thereof) in the House, and we must do everything we can to win back the House for Democrats this year.
There are only a handful of seats that stand between us and the House majority, so we must protect vulnerable districts like mine from Republican attacks.
I know I can defend my seat again in 2024 and continue advocating for Pennsylvanians on the issues that matter most, but we’re going to need an even stronger foundation this time. That’s why I’m asking you today to contribute anything you can spare to help us lay the foundation for November:
