Hi John,
Although the weather this week might suggest otherwise, Arizona is one of the sunniest states in the country.
Our incredible weather is one of the reasons so many people are moving to our state every year. It’s also why we must take protecting our water supply seriously — even when it’s pouring rain.
No one is more prepared to fight for Arizona’s water security than Kirsten Engel.
Kirsten is an environmental lawyer who has spent years working on this issue. In the Arizona State Legislature, she worked across the aisle on the Colorado Drought Contingency Plan. She’ll ensure that every state in the West is doing its part of managing our water supply — and that Arizona gets its fair share.
The same can’t be said for Kirsten’s opponent, Juan Ciscomani.
Ciscomani was a senior advisor to Doug Ducey when his administration cut a deal to give a Saudi Arabian agricultural firm nearly unrestricted access to pump groundwater. These farms used our precious groundwater to grow alfalfa that they sent back to Saudi Arabia. It was widely criticized by environmental and water organizations in Arizona.
While Arizonans were doing everything possible to reduce water usage, foreign-backed farms were allowed to pump enough water to supply 54,000 homes.
Ciscomani’s campaign has gotten thousands of dollars from the lobbyist who created the Saudi deal.
We can’t trust Ciscomani to fight for issues impacting Arizonans. Will you help Kirsten get him out of office and flip this seat blue by chipping in now? [[link removed]]

She’s ready to take that fight to Washington to find common-sense solutions to the challenges we’re facing here in Arizona's Sixth Congressional District.
In 2022, Kirsten lost her race by one of the smallest margins in the country. Will you make sure she can build a winning campaign early by chipping in now? [[link removed]]
