[link removed] [[link removed]] John,

Today we represented six Colorado voters before the U.S. Supreme Court in their effort to bar Donald Trump from the ballot.

The justices asked hard hitting questions of both sides, and our co-counsel Jason Murray who presented our oral arguments [[link removed]] deftly answered the questions thrown his way.

After the arguments, our team held a press conference on the steps of the Supreme Court. Here’s what we had to say:

Norma Anderson, one of the Colorado plaintiffs: “This is very personal to me. I've lived a hell of a long time and I've gone through a lot of presidents. This is the first one that's trying to destroy our Constitution.”

Krista Kafer, another Colorado plaintiff: "As a Republican, I believe in the rule of law. I believe in our Constitution... We have come here today to say 'Here is the line. You cannot foment insurrection. You cannot foment violence.'"

Noah Bookbinder, CREW president: “What we saw today was a Supreme Court taking this extremely seriously ”

Jason Murray, who argued our case: "Getting hard questions has been the story of this case...We don't do hard things without asking hard questions."

Trump v. Anderson is in the hands of the Supreme Court now. While we can’t predict their decision—or even the timing of a decision—we can say that we did everything in our power to make the strongest possible case for Trump’s disqualification from the ballot.

This is an unprecedented decision the Court is faced with, because Donald Trump’s actions were unprecedented.

Because of the lawsuit we filed on behalf of our clients in September, two courts have already ruled that Trump incited the January 6th insurrection. Those rulings were victories in and of themselves—and the Colorado district court decision was the first time a judge ever ruled that Trump incited insurrection.

Trump will go down in the history books as an insurrectionist, no matter what happens next.

We will keep you updated on any news in the case.

Thank you for your support!
