As Donald Trump clears the path to the Republican presidential ticket, he is doubling down on his radical stances on reproductive rights.
His team is already preparing executive orders to unilaterally rip away abortion access from millions of American women.
It makes me sick that politicians like Trump think they should make decisions about a woman’s own health care.
As the only Senator to have worked at Planned Parenthood, I know the importance of fighting for reproductive justice, especially as we see these rights stripped away day by day.
We need to make some big changes — and I’m fighting tirelessly in the Senate to pass crucial legislation like the Women’s Health Protection Act and the Protecting Access to Medication Abortion Act.
We can’t wait any longer to enshrine abortion rights into federal law. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to get it done.
