I’m a proud teacher and union organizer, and I first became an activist when politicians tried stripping away funding from our public schools.

See, I think government would work much better if we had more working class people making decisions. But the truth is, working people like Nida and I face way more barriers to getting into office than most candidates, especially when it comes to fundraising.

And that’s why your support is so critical: Without it, Nida and I won’t be able to reach voters in every corner of Durham, and we risk falling short in our election 26 days from now.
