In case you missed it, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis recently dropped out of the presidential race. That means DeSantis now has a lot more time on his hands, and he will undoubtedly commit much of it to fighting against abortion access.

Here’s the deal: We launched Her Bold Move Florida to join a bipartisan coalition on the ground in Florida as they work to pass a constitutional amendment protecting access to abortion statewide. Last month, we saw a major victory in this effort as the initiative qualified to be on the ballot statewide in Florida THIS November!

In fact, the Florida Supreme Court began hearing oral arguments about the ballot language YESTERDAY. This is the final hurdle to actually get the initiative on the ballot.

We are feeling encouraged! However, the Florida GOP has warned us that this fight will be brutal, and having DeSantis’s focus back in Florida will only make it worse. The team in Florida has a plan, but we need all the help we can get.
