Sarah Malega is a proud small business owner, community activist, foster mom, and voice for Lake Worth Beach residents. Serving as the City Commissioner in District 1 since 2021, she has brought change to City Hall by putting the residents in the driver's seat. From leading the district through the city’s first redistricting, to ensuring the voices of Black residents are elevated, spurring job creation with the restoration of the Gulf Stream Hotel, fighting for PBSO to wear body cameras, and putting term limits on the ballot – Sarah has listened to her constituents. During her time in office, Sarah also accomplished bringing in a LGBTQ Liaison to advocate on behalf of the LGBTQ+ community for city employees, residents, and business owners.
Looking ahead, Sarah hopes to continue to move Lake Worth Beach forward by protecting city-owned properties, finalizing infrastructure investments, and encouraging local investment into the entire city.
Commissioner Malega is a champion for women, children, and families in Lake Worth Beach and Palm Beach County at large. Can you help us support her campaign so she can keep fighting on the City Commission? Sarah Malega is a rising star in the Florida Democratic Party, so we need to do everything in our power to ensure her re-election.
