Do you remember January 20, 2017? That was the day Donald Trump was inaugurated.

And over the next four years, we watched our fears for his presidency become a reality.

Trump appointed the Supreme Court justices who provided the deciding votes to overturn Roe v. Wade. He repeatedly tried to repeal the Affordable Care Act and take health care away from millions of Americans. He gave a giant tax cut to the ultra-wealthy and left working families behind.

It was awful.

But MAGA extremists’ efforts to strip Americans of their dignity and freedoms did not stop after Trump left office. Right now, MAGA Republicans are working day in and day out to ban abortion outright, reduce access to affordable health care, and help the wealthy few get ahead at the expense of the rest of us.

But here’s the truth: We the people hold the power to shape our country’s future.

The Biden-Harris administration and Democrats across the country are dedicated to building a fairer and more free America -- one where the economy is built from the middle out and the bottom up, one where everyone can live, work, and retire with dignity, and one where the rights of every single American are protected.
