No matter the changes we face in the days and months ahead — how we live, how we work, how we show up for each other — our commitment to our patients and community remains the same: We're here with you.
For more than 100 years, Planned Parenthood has been committed to stand in solidarity with our community and provide compassionate care to our patients — no matter when, no matter what.
Even now as we face this crisis, our work doesn't stop. Right now, nothing is more important to us than the health and safety of our community, and that includes your sexual and reproductive health care.
Reproductive health care, including abortion, is essential health care. And in these uncertain times, one thing you can be certain about is that we're doing everything we can to provide health care and information to Planned Parenthood patients, wherever they are. That means keeping as many Planned Parenthood health centers as we can open and operating safely, making additional services available remotely, and partnering with other health providers and organizations to get you the critical care you need.
It's a tough time for all of us, and especially for those who will be disproportionately affected by this crisis — communities of color, those with low incomes, and immigrants. But now more than ever, we must show up for each other.
That means washing our hands, keeping a safe distance from others, and taking care of our vulnerable neighbors in whatever way we can. What we're facing right now won't be easy, but we will get through this — together.
