Hey, John,
I find that I talk a lot about spreading our message far and wide. It was one of the driving factors behind why I pushed so hard to hit our fundraising goals before the end of last year—because I knew that our primary was coming up quick, and that we were going to have to hit the ground running hard this year to make sure that we nominate the strongest possible candidate to flip the Treasurer’s office this Fall.
Well, with just one week left until the start of early voting, we’re in hustle mode. Later today, my team and I are meeting to put the final touches on our get-out-the-vote strategy, and next week, we’ve got something really special launching—but I’ll have more to share with you on that front later.
In the meantime, though, we still have a little more work to do before we’re ready to take on the next four weeks. We’ve got some ambitious plans to reach as many of the voters we need as we possibly can—but in a race like this one, we can always do more. The wind is at our backs, but I’ve seen too many candidates take a race for granted and lose. We can’t afford to rest on our laurels.
