Attorney General Todd Rokita is alerting Hoosiers of important consumer protection concerns for products recalled as we celebrate the new year.

?January should be full of hope and positivity ? not anxiety or concern about your purchased products,? Attorney General Rokita said. ?Do not allow a flawed product to put your family in danger. Please stop using recalled items immediately and pursue resolution from the manufacturer.?

*According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the following consumer products were recalled in January:? *

Bokser Home Recalls Mattress Pads Due to Fire Hazard and Violation of Federal Mattress Pad Flammability Regulation [ [link removed] ]

_Home Design Recalls Upholstered Low Profile Standard and Platform Beds Due to Fall and Injury Hazards_

Boot Royalty Recalls Men?s Leather Work Boots Due to Crush Hazard [ [link removed] ]_ _

H.H. Brown Shoe Company Recalls Redeemer Work Boots Due to Injury Hazard [ [link removed] ]

UBBCARE Play Yard Mattresses Recalled Due to Suffocation Hazard for Infants; Violation of the Federal Safety Regulation for Crib Mattresses; Sold Exclusively on Amazon.com by UBBCARE [ [link removed] ]

There are many more items that need to be double checked before using regularly.

If you believe you recently purchased a recalled product, stop using it, and check its recall notice. Then, follow the notice?s instructions, including where to return the product or what steps must be taken to receive a replacement product.?
