Today, Parliament is returning so that our Liberal government can introduce urgent economic measures to help ensure Canadians have the financial support needed during this crisis.
The Liberal government’s COVID-19 Economic Response Plan will put more money into the pockets of people who need it most and provide a combined $82 billion in support for families, workers and businesses to help Canadians get the support needed during this difficult time. As the Prime Minister has said, the top priority for all Canadians should be your health – not how to pay your bills, or how you’ll afford things like groceries.
